post cheena new year
barney is retarded, barney does not teach us A,B,Cs and 1,2,3s. right now, my brother is watching barney and they were singing some weird 'i can do it' song. just after they finished, my brother told my grandmother "grandmaaaaa, i cannot do it!" haha, what rubbish la.
anyway, i think this was my first cheena new year not going to malaysia where practically all my relatives are. so obviously, i suspected that the only ang pows i would receive would be from my parents and grandmother. BUT then, since one of my cousins works here in singapore, his family came down down to singapore to visit him. i kinda expected him to go back to malaysia. oh well, anyway, they stayed a night at my place and my aunty was nice enough to collect ang pows for us in malaysia, and passed them all to us. and the best part was that last year, when we went to malaysia, i collected only about a hundred RINGGIT. this year, i got about 400 ringgit, not counting what my grandmother gave me. wowww. but in the end, it's still only about less than 200 sing dollars.
OH WELL, at least it's something. yeh, on tuesday, we performed at the Istana. it was pretty much boring.
is 36 bucks worth it for a cloth-y tote?
