Formally from ACJC's band, haaaa
yayyy, i went for ACJC's concert last night. despite being told that they were the top band for SYF this year, i still think TJC's better, heeeee. aiya, SA too, but oh well, the last i heard them was last year, so i can't really say much la. but i really didn't like the first piece, which was supposed to be the piece they chose for SYF.
oh! they had a clarinet choir :DDDDDDD
and then they brought in a special guest, eunice olsen, to play the organ with the band, it was really cool, they did some jazz piece. she used to play the saxophone but some ACJC dude told sherri who told me that she can't play it anymore, haha. but i think she was pretty good back then, top band or no top band, JC bands are still generally really good. i think. well, her organ playing was DAMN GOOD LA.
i recorded it. ahhh, i think she was reallyreally good, her fingers were like flying over the keys. but i can't upload it cus the recording was too long, HAHA. it was 12 minutes plus.
someone please tell me why it reminds me of Tom and Jerry.

poor little fat boy
YOU KNOW WHAT?! i was watching MTV and i saw the video of How To Save A Life by The Fray and i was INSPIRED!!!
there was a short flash of this fat little boy, who was like really fat, and i thought he looked so poor thing. (well, i suppose they were all paid to look poor thing for the video la.) and i thought he was like the coolest dude in the whole wide world, so i immediately went to the salon and got a haircut just like his!
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! i look liek this now!
i think the hairstylist dude did such a great job with it, you almost couldn't tell the difference between him and me!
hahaha, so funny. no, that was obviously not true la, i saw the video a fews days back and i went to cut my hair today with clarissa. i wanted to get a short haircut at COLOUR BAR down at siglap and i knew i was in trouble when i saw that the guy who was gonna do my hair was wearing a PINK FRED PERRY POLO TEE with spiked hair. woww. talk about ah beng. then halfway through, i looked up from my magazine and got a big shock, I LOOKED LIKE A MINA! got bob and everything, with the two long sharp things at sides. which was really unexpected because i brought along this picture and asked him to cut my hair like it.
i was stunned ok, like really stunned la. imagine you were expecting that kind of hair then u look up to find a fugly mina bob on your head. so i started telling him in detail how i wanted it, like the front should be shorter than the back instead of those two long sharp things at the side, and still he kept getting it wrong. like just look at the picture la pls, after i told him that, then he went to cut those two thingys
straight across, i had no idea what he was trying to do la, i kept like trying to explain it all n stuff, clarissa said she felt that i was making a fuss, haha! in the end it turned out fine n unmina-ish. imagine if i didn't say anything la. would you seriously like a mina friend?
then afterwards, we went to parkway to shop and we went to the food court to eat. then u know how when u stand in front of one of the stalls, they will go like "hello, yes?". yeah, i was standing in front of this malay stall and the lady went "hello, boy, yes?"
oh mannnnnnnnnnn.
