creperie
the Creperie closed on saturday. i was quite down cus i didn't have plans to go once more before it closed, but thank goodness theresse was free and she quickly hopped on an mrt and got her butt down to Tanjong Pagar just after my superr last minute invite.
we ate and talked for a really long time and when all the customers were gone, my mum threw a small party for everyone who has worked there. it was really cool, i mean like i've never even seen some of them before but it's cool to think of what happened through the last five years the Creperie has been open. they sat around and told about the many stories of who did what and what happened.
i can't say that i'm very sad because i haven't worked there much, much less gone there regularly, but i do certainly have a lot of memories there. like after our SCDF Fire Prevention Skit in Sec 1, we all inavded the place. plus the many outings friends and i have gone there to chat over free food.
but somehow i think things might look up for the better. firstly, my mum's definately going to inforce more control over my brother and possibly erase that Philippina accent he has due to too much prescence of the maid. i was actually getting quite worried that my mum would be around 24/7 now that i'm so happy and used to her not being around a lot, but i was glad when she said, "the first thing i'm going to do when i close the restaurant is to go to the gym".
and by the way, she cooked yesterday's AND today's dinner. (today was more of a cheat, she bought laksa, but shush, you don't know that) with a mother who owns a restaurant, you'd think her children would actually be fed good food. but nope, i had to instant noodles THREE times last week.
and when my mum actually drove my sister and i to ballet and back, my sister whispered to me, "we have a mother now." C:
