accomplished!
YAYHAYHAY, I FEEL SO
PRODUCIVE PRODUCTIVE. HAHAHA. APPLE HAS BEEN SO ANAL RETENTIVE BUT I MANAGED TO BEAT IT. omggg, i swear, apple is like in their own world. it's like once you get an apple, you gotta change everything else to apple as well.
like my ipod right, i found out why Gigi couldn't read it. oh man, i actually went to the epicentre at wheelock to see if they could help me but they couldn't, so they gave me an apple hotline to call. so i went home and called and OMG THE CALL WAS TO INDIA. but okay, service was good. then they wouldn't really tell me what was wrong either but they advised me to restore my ipod. kena sai, restart my ipod?! then i had to go to itunes and pick out all the songs that are in my ipod and put them in a separate folder (cus my ipod isn't in sync with my itunes, if it was, i'd have all my dad's and sister's rubbish songs in my ipod) so yeah, restored it and connected it to Gigi and it worked! yeah, to cut the long story short, Gigi couldn't read the ipod cus when i first bought my ipod, i connected it to the mac first, so the settings was accustomed to the mac and not to windows (according to the service centre, this was what might have happened)
the ipod was one thing, transfering info from the mac to Gigi was like another level of hell. i uploaded all my files and whatever to a hard disk which was meant to use with mac. then when i tried to connect the hard disk to Gigi, i realised that the USB cord socket in Gigi was not the same shape as the USB cord of the hard disk! ARGHHHH. only mac had that kind of socket shape thing. so then, so pek chek, i had to transfer all my pics bit by bit using a 2GB thubdrive. SIANZATION! somemore when i transfered all the pics, then the pictures turn out all screwed up la! ok, this is not mac's fault but stilllll, i got super annoyed. then luckily i found out that my mum had a USB cord for windows computers, so i'm gonna transfer all the pics in again, but now using the hard drive.
so... no, chrys, i do not get the best of both worlds with mac, or at least only in a very limited sense. i. do. not. like. mac.
the brand, not the cartoon chacter, haha. omgomg, which reminds me, i'm going to watch foster's tonight! i stopped watching it for a pretty long time before the prelims and Os and all, then i kinda forgot about it. haha, i've never been good at following up with tv shows anyway, the only show which i successfully managed to remember to watch every week was America's Next Top Model. but then again, that was for only for one season. after that i always forget to watch, hahaha.
I LOVE MAC. AND CHEESE. MAC N' CHEESE.
